Can You Get Uti's From Brazilian Wax

From Dogon between 27 and 30 December ... Massimo and Francesca

Dogon by between 27 and 30 December.

The cliff 200 km along which the Dogon live is the most visited tourist destination in Mali. Not that there is to be feared overcrowding, mind you: we walked three days meeting with no more than a dozen Westerners around. However, the fame of the Dogon country is well deserved. Beautiful landscapes and villages of stone, mud and straw clinging to the escarpment. Higher up the abandoned houses of the mysterious Tellem, the people who lived in these areas before the arrival of the Dogon.

The people you meet are friendly and kind. They have a way of greeting that seems to never end. Appreciate the attempt to respond to the greeting in their language. The problem is that then try to strike up a conversation and our ability to talk ends now ...

The women work the fields, often centinania meters 'under' the village, or the flying mile - often with small children on their shoulders - to make a polenta, prepare the beer. The men carve the wood and raise goats. The elderly are devoted to divination. The Dogon have a complicated cosmogony and a refined knowledge of astronomy. Follow a lunar calendar and have a five-day week (not to be comfortable).

All families have a house made of a tiny house and a number of granaries: the big ones are men, and serve to keep the mile, and those children are women, have multiple compartments and maintain various types of vegetables - especially onions, of which the Dogon are major producers - as well as jewelry and clothing.

soon with new pictures from this magical place hard ... true and called Africa!
